Great pillows but…….
When they arrived the odor of the feathers was strong and not good. I placed each pillow in the washing machine with detergent on the 2 hr sterilizer cycle to get the odor out. I washed them separately. Then fluffed them in the dryer on high heat. This got the odor out. Now are nice pillows. Soft. They work. If you don’t have a washing machine with sterilizer cycle, take to laundromat. Worth it.

Overall very happy with the softness and quality of these inserts. I ordered 20×20 to fit inside a 20×20 sham. Reviews were mixed on sizing up but I don’t like when a pillow is too firm, so I stuck with 20×20. However, these are definitely a lighter fill so I would size up. The pillows are relatively flat and with down they flatten out a lot behind you, so if you want a medium to firm feel and a fuller look, definitely size up. Still happy and will keep them, vs the hassle of return, as these are going in less used location. But next time would definitely size up.

The pillow inserts were fine other than the size was a little off. They are more like an 18x 17, plus they give. I am reordering in a 20×20 insert for my 18×18 pillow cover for reference.
I have heard to get that “designer, full look” the insert should be 2 inches bigger than the actual cover.
Originally I went with the actual size because I wasn’t confident I could get the pillow inside. My Liz Marie pillow covers (from QVC) have a small (ish) zipper entrance. Since these pillows give so much due to the feather material, I’m going to go with the designer advice of two inches bigger. 🙂

These are amazing. We recently upgraded to a king from a queen, so we needed all new bedding. Euro pillows being all the rage, and trying to make my bedroom a sanctuary as my kids all become teenagers, I wanted in on extra pillows. I found pillow shams at Pottery Barn to match the bed set (also purchased and reviewed on Amazon), but didn’t want to pay Pottery Barn prices for the inserts. But because these pillows only come in packs of two, I got the two pack of these pillows, plus one pillow from Pottery Barn. OMG. These pillows are SO MUCH NICER than the $40 Pottery Barn insert! They’re fluffier, the down feels nicer, and the value is just undeniable. I’m allergic to everything, including down, so I was worried these would aggravate my allergies, but they don’t. I was also worried that the down would poke through a lot, as down does, but so far, it hasn’t. The pillows came vacuum sealed in several bags for shipping, but puffed up to full size within a couple of hours. I apologize I didn’t get a pic before I put them in the shams, I was too excited to get them on the bed. But the picture provided by the seller is an accurate representation. Bottom line is I would highly recommend these. They’re an exceptional value, they were clean, didn’t smell weird, and arrived quickly. When I put them on the bed, the Pottery Barn one goes in the middle and always looks sadder to me. I wished I’d had the option to buy one extra, or even a three pack of these pillows, if only the seller would add quantity options. Don’t hesitate to buy these if you’re on the fence, you won’t be disappointed!

These pillows were very over priced and were falsely advertised. There is no down or feathers inside. It was filled with lumpy cheap poly fill. Don’t buy.

Bought to replace the horrible poly-fill in my new couch pillows. These feather pillows arrived in a vacuum sealed bag and were extremely hard and flat. But after putting them in the dryer for about ten minutes, they came out full and fluffy. I added feather-proof zip covers, and now my couch pillows are super comfy with the perfect “designer chop” high end look.

Reasonably priced and affordable pillow inserts for throw pillows!
They are made of actual feather and down and so are not too firmly filled and feel very different than feather only and down only inserts.
These feather and down inserts do not keep their shape, rather they conform to your body, which is a lot less supportive. These are a lot more cozier than no pillows and they are not as cozy as down filled but less supportive polyester fill pillow inserts.
If you want the expensive pillow inserts, you must be ready to give up on support and you must love the squishy feel of high end down throw pillow .
The 100% down which look almost identical to down-and-feathers but are different feeling. Then there are a lot more choices in down-and-feathers inserts which is why I buy both the more affordable and more supportive polyester inserts sometimes.
The more feathers, in your down-and-feather insert the more support you get. The more down, the more soft, but you sink into down only pillows. You might, like me, not give up wholly on high end polyester filled inserts. The latter polyester inserts for pillows also come firmer and denser and give you a pillow insert with the most support.

I needed to replace inserts for a few pillows and these seemed to have great reviews for the price. They are excellent! Especially to be so affordable. The are not as heavy as true down inserts but they definitely give the same look and allow you to “chop” the top of the pillow. I ordered the 24 in inserts for a 22 in pillow cover and they work perfectly.

Definitely not down filled, cheap foam and half full at that. I bought these because there were more than 5000 reviews with 4.5 stars, what is going on? Don’t buy! now I have to waste my time returning!
