Well I’m using it…
Neck riser has 2 sides- a regular and high stretch side. There were some cautions to start out on the easy side first…but I’m a guy with a bad neck, so ignore that. I usually spend 30min+ on high stretch side, and have fallen asleep on it a couple times. Does it work? Well, I can fall asleep on it. Is it fixing me? Well, not so much (so far?). If it does, I’ll update this review.

Works!
Nice firm support. Can’t lay directly on it for too long because of how firm it is but I just put a light pillow over it for cushion and still works just fine.

works well, but not as soft as i expected it to be
Pretty rigid for a neck relaxer. Stretched well, but because its so firm it does put some pressure on contact points that can be uncomfortable.

Wish it were a bit smaller or softer
I don’t have back or neck issues, but I’m a writer, so I spend a LOT of time on my laptop. I thought this would be a good thing to use at the end of the day to relax my neck and upper back muscles. My neck is on the shorter side, so it’s an extreme stretch to get my head to touch the floor – a bit much for me! It’s also so hard. I don’t really find it comfortable to use, so hubs is the only one that uses it now.

It Works
My chiropractor recommended I use a soup can under my neck, but if I wanted to spend a little money I could buy the wave. I read every review and really debated the purchase. Not because it was a lot, but because I just couldn’t get a real “read” on what people were saying. But, anyway, I didn’t have a soup can, so I bought the RESTCLOUD. I’m glad I did. I stand all day in a pretty physical job and sometimes I just want to stretch my neck. A few times a week I carve out 10 minutes to lie on the floor with the RESTCLOUD under my neck, my knees bent. 10 minutes goes fast, but after I feel really good. My doctor recommended turning it around so that it’s not so hard but, I got used to it after only one use and use it with the curl facing away from my back. I would recommend it to anyone who feels a little tight and stiff with some tension in the neck and back. I stay in the same position and few more minutes and lift 3# weights with my arms. Hey, I’m down, I might as well.

It Works For My Stiff Neck!
My Chiropractor doesn’t like this…because I don’t visit as often. I frequently wake up with a stiff and sore neck from “sleeping in the WRONG position.” Ten minutes of this & I am good to go! Neck pain reduced and/or totally eliminated. Can do 3 times a day. I usually only need once.

Helps so much with neck injuries!
I have bulging c5-c7, this was recommended by my massage therapist to help relieve the pressure between the discs. I followed the instructions and did it for 10 mins. 3 on the gentle side the rest on the bigger side. It felt amazing. The pressure was relieved and I feel like it gave me a good stretch. I’ll continue to use this once a day and update my review later. If you’re on the fence about it. Buy it and follow the directions.

Works for a while.
I got this because I feel a lot of neck pressure and thought I needed to have a neck and shoulder relaxer. The design is pretty good, because it did relieve the pain and shoulder tense when I use this. The only thing is, you need to remember to use this when needed. I feel that it kind of numbs the blood circulation when I am using this, so it did initially give me relief, but then I kind of stopped using it because I feel my circulation isn’t as good. Maybe it’s just me and I used it wrong. I do think this is a good tool to use if you have neck and shoulder pain.

Feels great
I know it doesn’t look like it would stretch out the neck and lessen that ol’ neck hump to any meaningful degree but it does! I’ve had my boyfriend use it for a few minutes when he has a headache from sitting at the computer all day and he admits it helps. Turns out proper blood flow through the neck is pretty great.

Actually worked well
I couldn’t get into my chiropractor and my neck was hurting so badly I couldn’t sleep well. My neck was hurting all day and all night about a 5 out of 10. I was desperate and ordered this. It totally got rid of my pain. I only used it for 5 mins before bed and when I woke up in the morning. Used it for 3 days straight and pain gone. I use it for about 5 mins every day before bed and neck pain has not returned.

Almost as good as sex
Not even kidding. And I don’t wanna get off after just ten minutes. I hadn’t researched the measurements so was expecting something bigger, but it’s nicely small. I’m a chronic migrainer and subsequent neck popper, whose favorite chiropractic move is traction. I did not have high hopes that anything could replace my chiropractic traction. This did exactly that for me. The only difference is that this feels safer. My head and neck and shoulders are greatly appreciative of this thing. I frequently have tension at the base of my skull, and I’m able to adjust this to exactly where I’m needing pressure applied to loosen things.

Works great, but…
At first use, i lasted only 30 seconds before i couldnt stand the feeling of it any more. I then went to the chiropractor for an adjustment on my neck and this thing has been great ever since. If your neck is already in bad shape when you get this, its not going to help and may even make things worse. Strongly recommend seeing a chiropractor for an adjustment before using this. I use this maybe 1-2 times a week for 5-10 mins at a time when i start to feel compressed and this thing opens my neck back up like a charm.

Relief for “Spectator Neck”
“Spectator neck:” think of you head in a forward-thrusted position, sort of like you’re watching a football game or tennis match. Or, more likely, the posture that results from endless time at a desk, staring at a computer, or anywhere, staring down at a phone screen. I know I have it and I hate it. It’s painful and, let’s face it, not cute. So I bought this thing to try to get some relief and look less like a tortoise trying for a piece of lettuce at the zoo.The directions are pretty straightforward, with pictures. To get the most out of it, I think it’s important to follow the diagrams. I tried to cheat and didn’t get the same effect. Once in The Position it’s important to focus on relaxing your muscles. I have a tendency to stay tight, but once I paid attention to actually relaxing I felt like I was getting more of a stretch. My goal is to do three, 10-minute sessions per day, but I haven’t managed that, yet (not due to the item, due to my own time mis-management).For the price, I think it’s a worthwhile addition to any stretch/relaxation routine! It’s not going to solve all the issues (gotta work on screen time and general relaxation), but it’s a start!

Be careful!!
I purchased this device about two months ago to correct my posture, which was contributing to problems with my shoulder. Initially I found it very helpful. It was comfortable to use and I noticed improvement in my posture. However, about a month ago I stayed on it for a longer period of time, probably around 10-15″. Since then I have been experiencing an increasing level of vertigo, to the point where I cannot walk without holding onto something or someone. After contacting a family member who is a chiropractor, I learned that this is due to a shift in the crystals in the ear canal and is correctable by using the “Epley maneuver.” Hopefully that is the case. She also said that this device should only be used by someone who is receiving regular chiropractic adjustments.FOLLOW UP: I posted the above review on 9/4/23. The following day I was contacted by the seller apologizing for the difficulty I experienced and offering me a full refund. I was quite impressed by the professionalism of the seller in reaching out to me and offering a refund, which I had not even requested. However, I chose not to accept the offer because my problem occurred as the result of not using the product correctly per the instructions. My husband assisted me in performing the Epley Maneuver (we watched a YouTube video) and my vertigo rapidly improved. Once I resume chiropractic treament, I plan to beginning using this product again according to the recommended guidelines, as I was truly beginning to see benefits.

Does what it says!
I hemmed and hawed for months before buying this – seemed like a lot to spend for something I’d only use a few minutes a day. Finally bought it on Prime Day sale, and wish I hadn’t waited so long. I have chronic neck and back pain and nighttime spasms due to a whiplash injury that really impacts my sleep. I lay on this on a yoga mat on the floor for a few minutes before bed, and almost never have those spasms in my sleep anymore. I have severe TMJ and haven’t seen improvement there yet, but I’m hopeful with continued use my muscles will learn to relax and that will abate as well. Truly worth every penny on sale or not.

I did not know I would find this item so helpful
Even though i am not supposed to wear this Cervical Traction Device for long periods of time, it helps my neck relax more. Further more, anytime I go to a hospital for a check-up, and they ask me to lie down, my head cannot rest on it because of scoliosis. Most hospitals do not have extra pillows to rest my head. From now on, i will bring my Device with me so that i can relax when the physical exam takes place.

Good material and sturdy. Get bundle to save money!
Got it for a family member whose neck and shoulder area were in pain and was told to try this. It looks like a sturdy piece but not too hard to lay down on it. It seems to be a better quality than other cheaper ones. Fortunately, it turns out the person doesn’t need it so I am returning it. I got it as a bundle and could save some money.

It works!! Try it.
They suggest no more than 30 minutes, but wish I could sleep on it all night! It feels like it opens the spot(s) between base of skull and next set(s) of vertebrae. The “Goldilocks” softness not too hard, not too soft; but just enough for a traction benefit.I was (prior to this) using towel exercises to rotate/exercise the neck to keep range of motion. This helped, but I believe sometimes I pulled my neck in wrong directions. This device seems to open neck in the CORRECT positions. The written directions are not foreign (translated); and are in clear English.Five stars!

RESTCLOUD Neck and Shoulder Relaxer – A Soothing Solution for Tension and Stress
I recently purchased the RESTCLOUD Neck and Shoulder Relaxer, and it has proven to be a game-changer in my quest for relief from neck and shoulder tension. As someone who spends long hours at a desk, I often experience discomfort and tightness in these areas, and I was eager to find a solution that didn’t involve expensive spa treatments or medication. The design of the Neck and Shoulder Relaxer is simple yet effective. The contoured shape fits comfortably under the neck, providing gentle support and alignment. The material is soft and supportive, making it easy to use without causing any additional discomfort. The adjustable straps allow for a customized fit, ensuring that it stays securely in place. What sets this product apart is its versatility. It can be used in multiple ways to target different areas of the neck and shoulders. Whether I’m lying down or sitting up, the Relaxer provides a consistent level of support, promoting relaxation and easing tension.I particularly appreciate the acupressure points incorporated into the design. These strategic points help to release knots and muscle tension, providing a therapeutic experience similar to what one might achieve with a professional massage. The initial discomfort from the pressure quickly gives way to a soothing sensation, leaving the neck and shoulders feeling noticeably more relaxed. The simplicity of the RESTCLOUD Neck and Shoulder Relaxer is a major selling point. It doesn’t require any batteries or complicated setup. I can easily incorporate it into my evening routine or use it for a quick break during the day, making it a practical solution for busy individuals seeking relief from stress and muscle tightness. After using the Neck and Shoulder Relaxer consistently for a few weeks, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in tension headaches and overall discomfort. It has become an integral part of my self-care routine, and I highly recommend it to anyone dealing with neck and shoulder issues. In conclusion, the RESTCLOUD Neck and Shoulder Relaxer is a fantastic investment for those seeking an affordable and effective solution to alleviate tension and stress in the neck and shoulder area. Its simple yet thoughtful design, combined with the acupressure points, sets it apart as a valuable tool in promoting relaxation and well-being.

Not sure if the curve is the optimum shape/degrees, works ok
Fast shipping. This did help relieve some of the trigger point tension, however I still had to go to chiropractor for deep occipital trigger point relief and spine adjustment, which relieved my pain. Have been using the prescribed stretches and rolled up towel supporting my neck with similar results so no longer using this. It may or may not help depending on your issue.

I can open my mouth again!!!!!
As of May 10th, I’ve used this for a full session (~20ish minutes) only once. I did this on May 8th. I’ll update this in a few months. That said:I’ve had horrible TMJ for the past 4 years after my wisdom teeth surgery. Jaw-locking, grinding sounds, pain, mild change in face shape, inability to open my mouth straight without training my muscles a lot of jaw gymnastics – I had all the works. The biggest pain for me was the inability to open my mouth properly, as the maneuvering it took to compensate definitely felt like it was making my TMJ worse and more painful.I am happy to report that for the first time since the day I came home from surgery unable to open my mouth more than a few centimeters, I can finally open my jaw straight without having to slide it to one side first!!!! While I do still experience the popping sound while eating, it is definitely not invasive and not something that bothers me. I think it might be quieter now, but I will know for sure over time. I also still hear the grinding/pop-rock type sound in one joint occasionally, but not often. I have not had pain yet. I’ll start taking some head-on pictures to compare my jawline to older head-on images I have as I continue to try this out.Hopefully in a few months I can say these effects are here to last. I am so thrilled to actually be able to open my mouth all the way again. I thought I would need surgery (I have a connective tissue disorder that makes issues like this more severe, so I found little success with exercises other than mild improvements). So this is HUGE for me.I bought this for my primarily for neck as it has begun to ache occasionally over quarantine. I did not have any hope that it would help my TMJ, save for maybe a very tiny tiny sliver. I’ve never heard of something like this helping someone’s TMJ before, so I was very skeptical. I still can’t believe my jaw is one huge step closer to how it used to be. I’ve regretted getting my wisdom teeth out since the moment I realized I could never open my mouth normally again. I’ve never been more glad to be wrong. My neck has also not been sore and has felt great, but that’s definitely been overshadowed as you can see. My jaw has plagued me much longer.I know when I see raving reviews, I am sometimes skeptical that they might be paid for. Please know this is not paid. I just am really excited. I will certainly update this in a few months to see if this continues to be beneficial for me. As of now, I definitely recommend giving it a try. Amazon makes returns really easy, so testing it shouldn’t be too much of a pain 🙂

Helps Relieve Some Pressure
I use this daily as a way to relieve pressure off of my neck. I am always monitoring my posture, as I am worried that work at a computer could harm my back and neck posture. This item helps with time, but it is certainly not a miracle work. You must use it daily to see any effect. There are times where it leaves me wanting more of a stretch than it is capable of producing, but it is overall a good product to use.

Simple & Effective
Ykes, started to notice the development of a “forward head tilt” and “rounded shoulders” posture (together with a creeping increase in the frequency and intensity of “tension headaches”!) — given the increasing amount of time having to spend in front of computer screens and personal devices, I can well imagine fast-forwarding 10 years down the road & seeing myself permanently locked in an exaggerated “iHunch” posture, with chronic neck pain & recurring brutal headaches! (omg, looking & feeling like my complaining grandpappy!) Countering this alarming health trajectory was the motivating factor behind the purchase of this traction device (as well as a multitude of other similar, but tested & returned, products) .Since receiving the Restcloud traction device, I have been using it for 3 times daily (approx. 10 mins each session) for the past 6 weeks… and my verdict, thus far? — it’s been really effective for me! When I first started out, my shoulder (esp. pec/scalene/levator scapulae muscles) were sooo darn tight, that even while lying supine my shoulders were still “rolled forward” — the muscular tension being so taut that it prevented the breadth of my entire upper back from lying appropriately flattened against the floor surface! Due to the amount of dysfunctional baseline tension, initial stretching sessions targeted to relax those habitually tense areas totally failed to feel comfortable or relaxing! Initially, while in the recommended stretch position, I could even feel my arms becoming mildly numb & tingly (probably caused by the brachial plexus being compressed by especially tight pectoralis minor muscles)! But I stayed disciplined with my self-prescribed daily stretching routine (plus, also kept extra focus on maintaining good posture habits throughout the day)… and now about 6 weeks later, I can totally feel a significant drop in the baseline level of dysfunctional tension being carried in my neck, shoulder, upper body areas! The personal results I’ve gotten so far is enough to convince me into making stretching with the Restcloud traction device as part of a necessary, daily, well-being maintenance “hygiene routine” — just like brushing my teeth and eating a healthy breakfast! Stretching has been a no-brainer-easy & gentle process — I don’t have to futz around with any complicated contraptions (omg, has anyone else experienced the “fun” of trying to work one of those “neck traction hammock” thingys???), nor get locked into some kind of time-suck routine! So you bet I’m clearly a fan of this lil’ traction device.Hope this review helps other peeps trying to find effective countermeasures against their own iHunch related issues!…or maybe we should all just unite and collectively ditch our computers & personal devices?!? ;D(Usage Tip: to achieve an optimum shoulder tension release — I found it most effective to follow the stretching posture as depicted in the included direction-graphic, and to also CONSCIOUSLY focus on keeping the shoulders relaxed while at it)

If you are like me, then any relief at all is worth the small amount of money that it costs to purchase this device. It does seem to help but it is not a cure. Feels good
My trainer gave me this to rest my neck and body after training, and I found it comfortable so I bought it.

Does what it is supposed to
Bought this on recommendation from my Chiropractor. He said “I can sell you one in the office for $60 or you can get the identical one off Amazon for $20”.First time I used it I was on my bed. Yeah, that was dumb. You need to be on a hard surface. If the “normal” way is too intense, you can turn it around backwards and it is more gentle. Great for neck health.
