I bought this to help with my recovery after back surgery. It made getting in and out of bed very easy. It was very easy to put together and adjust. It offered great support. The pockets were also a great place for my phone and remote.

The product description did say that this bed rail was not intended for adjustable beds. I thought I could try it anyway, since it has the security strap that could go around the board that adjusts the mattress. The problem was that the mattress is secured to the board by heavy-duty magnets, and I couldn’t get the bedrail support (the part that slides under the mattress) to go between magnets. So, it didn’t work for me. But I do think the product was well-made and sturdy. It was also easy to put together.

This product makes it easy to get in and out of bed safely. It functions as kind of a grab bar so I can more easily hold on and rise from my bed. Particularly useful for night time bathroom trips. Easy to install. Easy to use. Gives good leverage to get in and out of bed. Well worth the cost

I have some back issues which make movement difficult at times. This bed rail is much shorter than average, which fits my need exactly. I wasn’t concerned about falling out of bed, but needed something to hold on to to get in an out of bed, as well as move around while lying down. The handles are padded and easy to grasp, and the installation under the mattress makes it very stable. This absolutely does the trick! It’s also purple, which makes it a little less of an “old lady” device. The pockets also come in handy for storing reading glasses, book, and cell phone while in bed.

Once in place under the mattress, and secured via the provided straps to the other side of the bed, it is very stable, allowing me to pull up out of bed or push off to get further into the bed. And the provided pockets are great for phones, etc. (or to block out seeing a digital clock’ light) or can be removed as it is simply clipped-on. Really glad my Occupational Therapist recommended it!

This helps my sister get out of bed and get into bed. We have wood floors and she was slipping trying to position herself into bed (perfect & and very helpful) easy to put together 5 minutes. And very very sturdy. Love it!

I purchased this for my 76 yr old 95 lb Mother who had recently had a Nephrostomy done to her left kidney. Her metal bedframe allows to hook on the bags/tubing working with gravity. This support system is Highly useful & recommended for any Surgery/Procedure. Don’t hesitate to purchase since the first few days is crucial. I wish I had this for my first Cesarian Surgery during childbirth. 😮💨😓😔
The price is on point, My mom could use extra storage space, however as she’s known to be a packrat, 🤭🤫😄 Her remote, prescriptions, shaver & other things fit just fine where she can reach them.
If your needing an attached nightlight and extra storage or it’s questionable if it will be compatible with your bed framing, then I’d invest into a bit more based on needs.
This item is simple & Durable and I’m happy especially since I was tight in cash. My mother loss most of her muscle mass seemingly overnight & most of her weight as she decided to cut out a lot of foods due to COPD, and not move around as much 😑 Well, her body was also battling infection due to a 13cm Staghorn Kidney Stone which unknowingly accumulated over the year. 🤦🏼♀️😮💨😓 I had to buy other things such as diapers, protective bed mat, a bedframe, Bedside Commodity Toilet & other things unexpectedly tailoring her needs as we go until I wait for these applications to go through for help with these things. 🥱😴😶🌫️
I will tell you that item is easily compatible with the Metal bedframe and the soft bed in a box mattress over it adds the final support in order to hold it in place.
I was able to easily wrap the fabric belting around the metal bars throughout the bottom bed framing and tighten it.
You’d have to wrap a few times and build your durability as it’s extra long enough to wrap around many times in each direction around the bedframe throughout the middle of bedframe, extending to outer sides. Just take your time and be Patient in assembling any item.
Mine didn’t come with instructions which was intimidating at first, however I didn’t have issues doing my own thing.
I’m confident that this item would support me as I’m 245 lbs. It could be useful as well, however I don’t have a bedframe and just roll or use my stomach muscles that were cut deeply, 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤭😪

This bed rail works great! Install was extremely quick. Love the heavy/strong metal material with the foam padding on top rail and underneath mattress. It allows the user to get in and out of bed independently and safely. The pocket bag is great for remotes.
