The scent put me to sleep for sure but the wick burns too fast and now I can’t burn any more without replacing the wick

This is a nice set of two candles, each candle weighing in at 7 ounces. The candles are made in China. They came to me in a nice box, quite suitable for gifting. On the back of the box, there was a statement that “most people don’t realize that there is a right way to burn a candle.” (Oops … that would be ME!) These candle-burning guidelines were a bit difficult to read, but worth my time to look closely and consider the guidance.
For example, the instructions suggested that I should trim the wicks of the candles to 1/8 to 1/4 inch after each use; and I should let the candle burn for a long enough time for the wax to melt all the way across the candle; and I should only burn the candle for 4 hours at a time. Apparently, I’m not the only one who didn’t know all of these candle-burning guidelines? There were other instructions, including general precautions, but these three were the most interesting to me.
Prior to getting these candles, I WAS familiar with both lavender and geranium scents, but didn’t know what Ylang was. So I looked it up on Wikipedia, which described Ylang to be “one of the most extensively used natural materials in the perfume industry, earning it the name ‘Queen of Perfumes.'” I still don’t know that much about Ylang, but now I DO know what it smells like, especially when combined with lavender and geranium. It smells nice, really nice, both before … AND after I put the candle into my candle warmer.
The seller makes some pretty big statements about how these candles will help me sleep, and relieve my stress and anxiety. I’m pretty sure that these claims are … perhaps … a bit embellished. But I am also sure that my space is already smelling nicer and is simply more comfortable than it was before, compliments of the “Queen of Perfumes.”

These aroma therapy sleep candles smell wonderful. I was surprised that I could smell their fragrance before I opened the box yet they weren’t overpowering when lit. The essential oils are aromatic and the lavender really does ease me into a restful state.
However, after distinguishing the candle, I did find the fragrance doesn’t linger very long. I can only speak for myself but I like the smell to stick around awhile. If you drift off to sleep quickly this won’t matter but if you don’t fall asleep right away the fragrance may dissipate a little quickly.
Of the two candles, one has a wood wick and the other has a cotton wick. The burn time is really good on both. They were lit for several hours and they barely burned down making them a great value.
They come in nice glass containers which are not only functional but attractive with any decor.
This candle set truly is pleasurable and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to elevate their candle collection or just trying to have a restful sleep. It also makes a really great gift!

Wonderful scent (reminds us of some of the sleep products we loved from Bath & Body Works) in two candles with 2 different wick types: 1 traditional string wick and one wood wick (which is installed slightly off center). We tried the wood wick first. It’s very quiet and after about 20 minutes it’s very soft in light. It was surprising that the scent was not very noticeable when the candle was burning. The candle seems to have a good cold throw of scent but much more subtle hot throw.

Candes came in a set of two. They are advertised to help with calmness and promoting sleep, but I couldn’t tell you if the candle actually did that or not. Because I was also lol. They smell good, but not too strong to where you can notice it right away

I grabbed a pack of these for my fiancé for Christmas and was pleasantly surprised! They smell really good, and one of them has a wooden wick – the first time I’ve seen one of these in a candle. We’re both big fans of lavender scented candles and these are spot on!
