So,
Did a ton of research on this and others but it was one review back a year or so that made my decision. Compare the weight of this to others. Much heavier. Translated into better coils and denser latex and foam. Better support.
I’m not sure on cloud feel compared to tempurpedic but not horrible.
I’m 6’3″ and around 290 last weigh in. I was having hip pain issues at time of purchase. Side sleeper. It gave me 95% relief but couldn’t shake pain till I finally went to chiropractor who fixed it. So no more pain in that hip.
No real pain when waking up in shoulders or neck. Been using 60 days plus now.
I wish they made a 12″ with thicker latex top layer then I think the “cloud feel” would be closer to reality for me.
Now, someone lighter as tall or shorter might get this as a little firmer but my size and manufacture description I say medium firm.
Cover is nice feel.
My negative on buld is I can feel coils through the side. No layer/buffer to protect but do not see issue long term just observation. No issues sitting on side of bed. I think some companies put foam around the sides that shields the coils.
I would like to thank that earlier reviewer for the weight observation. Better quality as I also just bought the Lucid twin XL latex 10″. It was much lighter, easier to take up stairs and feels below medium firm. It still not expanded to 10″ 4 days later. Have not slept on it yet but I’m upset it’s not fully expanded. I couldn’t even find the coils on the Lucid. I’ll review Lucid in a few weeks but initially, my take is great for kids! Latex, cool to touch.
Latex. This is the way to go IMHO. Stays cool holds shape. Exactly what you want or what I wanted.
Conclusion.
So, these 2 will be going to grandkids as I come to finalize either split king or regular king and adjustable frame.
I really do enjoy this mattress, good price, and believe it’s a top choice.
Also, they have a trial period. Very generous. The Lucid latex 10″ not so. Maybe 12″ would be better.
I would recommend this mattress for a side or back sleeper. Comes in a nifty bag to carry up the stairs. We’ll made vs. Competition in same latex type beds. Nice cover. So far holding shape.

All things considered, this is the best mattress I can get for less than $500.
I bought this mattress six months ago but decided to hold up my review until now, just to be sure that whatever the manufacturer of the mattress claim on the product description and reviews from other buyers is indeed true. So, my trial period has elapsed and I can precisely give an honest review of this product.
I have tried at least six brands of mattresses before then but had not found one that meets my personal needs. However, I was not going to give up, and so I decided to buy the 8-inch hybrid natural latex mattress from Sunrising Bedding at Amazon.com, although I had so much anxiety purchasing a mattress online. This one was tagged with a price that would not drill holes in my pocket if I did not like it. Besides that, there was that assurance that I will be refunded, if at all, the product falls below my expectation during the 120-day trial period.
Upon placing the order, the mattress was at my doorstep, faster than I had expected. Unfortunately, since I had just moved into a new house, my bedroom, which was in the upstairs, was not complete yet as there was few fixing going on. It was supposed to be ready in a couple of weeks. Therefore, I had to drag the box in the store to wait for the official opening of my bedroom!
Opening the package
Two weeks down the line, my bedroom is ready. Initially, I was worried that this mattress would have permanent folding issues because it remained like that, two weeks after delivery. It is now time to unbox the package and try it out. As said by other reviewers of this product, it comes with heavy and large box, perhaps to keep it safe during delivery. Upon opening the box, it expanded very quickly, and in a couple of minutes, it was eight inches high. Contrary to my imagination, there were no deformities or deficiencies arising from keeping the mattress in the package for several weeks and no chemical smell. When I unfolded it, it was upside down, and I immediately flipped it up. This would be much easier if we were two people, and honestly, it was not too much of a struggle to me, but enough to mention it here.
Comfort
The mattress may not be as soft as I had anticipated, but it feels supportive and comfortable. My back and shoulders are now not as stiff as they have been several months ago. Nowadays, I no longer wake up with some parts of my body numbed. It is good news that my lower back, which has been painful and tight for years, is getting better after changing to this product.
Firmness
While this mattress is no doubt comfortable, I was also concerned about its firmness. When reading reviews of previous buyers, I was somewhat left in limbo because very few people talked about the firmness of the product, yet it was what I care about most. Nonetheless, I choose to buy it despite the limited info and confirm the said characteristic by my own, perhaps within the 120-days trial period. Although firmness may be subjective, I can say the Sunrising Bedding mattress yielded to my body as a unit. The uniformly suspended springs each yield in a unique way, so it does not matter whether I sleep on my back, side, or stomach. As I was sitting on the edges, I realized that the support I am getting is sufficient, and so the mattress provides the kind of firmness I was looking for.
Pricing
I was looking for a mattress brand that could meet my health needs regardless of the price. Before getting this product on Amazon, I had placed an order for another brand that was going for $800. I canceled it. Most of the pricy mattresses in most online selling platforms are typically memory foam. I tried two of the best brands and I kept them for too long hoping to feel better but it never happened (I believe it was the toxic chemicals they use to make them fire resistan/retardant). I have tried them before, but after reading several reviews of innersprings, I choose to give it a try. Therefore, when I found this latex hybrid mattress that is designed with an outer foam layer and inner spring for a price less than $400, I delved into its reviews and made a decision to buy it.
I have been using this mattress for six months now, and I can say it is a worthy investment. Of course, it took some time getting used to the innerspring hybrid mattress, but I have got used to it now. Overall, I am indebted to this purchase and would not hesitate to recommend others to consider buying and trying it out.
