They were recommended by my OBGYN for my nerves . I just wish they were a little smaller. It is a little difficult for me to swallow it. Otherwise they have no taste. Probably gonna be easier if you take them with food maybe I feel like they’re getting a little stuck on my throat because they’re so big.

My husband takes these before bed. He takes 1 and it helps him to relax and feel tired. It still takes about an hour or so to fall asleep and he doesn’t stay asleep for long, but even though he still wakes up alot during the night, he’s able to fall back to sleep for short spurts throughout the night. He only takes 1 per night. Not sure if taking 2 would help him Stat asleep? Might try that.

Before I Begin, let me make it clear, I am not a doctor, I am speaking solely off of my own experience, this is not medical advice, just the route I went about with my intake of this.
Speaking as someone who experienced his first Panic Attack a little over a month ago, has never taking a magnesium supplement, likely was “very” deficient in it ( I say this because the first pill I took of this made me feel super weird and gave me a flash back to my Panic Attack…BUT, I didn’t have one. It past )
I’ve always been high strung, whether showing it or internalizing it, I would get mad quickly, sometimes wondering why I would in the first place. Once I looked into these things ( the panic attack caused my search ) I found multiple research material stating that people who lack Magnesium tend to show these signs + anxiety + depression, etc. It fit in exactly with me. So began my try.
Took 1 at 9 a.m. took about 40 min to kick in? ( empty stomach )
this is the routine I’ve been doing and it’s been working for me with no side effects ( such as diarrhea )
First off, if you are in a similar situation, and you drink coffee, QUIT THE COFFEE UNTIL YOU ARE 100% BACK TO NORMAL!!! (If you are someone with anxiety or suffered a panic attack)
Don’t even think you can have just 1, I tried, and felt the heart go up ( which is normal ) shortness of breathe which would then play on the mind to get you worried again. Also would feel as if I couldn’t breathe deeply.
Just stay away from it until you normalize. Then you can try it again if you wish. I can’t stress that enough.
With that said: I tried 2 in the evening and checked how that would work for me… it did until the end of the day where a worry would kick in out of nowhere.
So then I started taking 1 in the morning ( 9 A.M. empty stomach, took about 40 min to kick in for me )
1 at 3 P.M. and
1 at 9 P.M.
( this is the optimal level according to the RDA for Magnesium for men daily ) For Women, it’s 100mg less if Im not mistaken.
So women should take 1 less.
This is what has been working for me thus far. Listen to your body. If you experience loose stool/diarrhea, then cut back the dosage a bit until you find the amount that doesn’t cause this to happen.
For me, I haven’t experienced anything like that so, for me, as of now, 3 a day, spread out throughout the day, is what is key for me for now until I notice a change in digestion.
If you are like me and fell into the whole Depersonalization phase, ignore it. As soon as you think of a negative thought, snap out of it, tell yourself it’s not useful and do something else. This will all pass as long as you continue to take its power away.

I’m picky about my supplements and their ingredients. Reading reviews of magnesium products on Amazon reveals common quality/production issues with capsules broken in every bottle.
